Kibo is the highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro—a name that represents the pull of the horizon and the courage to keep climbing. For us, it is also the name of a border collie who never stopped looking toward the summit.

 

KIBOPAW began with a hike that didn’t end as planned.

 

On the third day of the journey, Kibo’s harness wore through, forcing him and our founder to turn back before reaching the summit. That evening, beside the campfire, Kibo kept his eyes fixed on the distant peak. There was no disappointment in his gaze—only the same restless curiosity that draws all of us beyond the familiar.

 

In that moment, we understood something simple:

 

Dogs don’t just follow us on our adventures.

They have mountains of their own to climb.

 

That belief became KIBOPAW.

 

Our logo brings a mountain ridgeline and a dog’s profile together in one continuous form—a symbol of the wild places we explore and the bond that always brings us home.
